ECCO White Caucus – First Gathering
When: Thursday, 11/14, 6pm – Potluck dinner, 6:30pm-8pm Meeting
Where: Sacred Heart Parish Hall, 571 Boston St., Lynn
What: In the White Caucus, we will explore not only how racism has hurt people of color, but also how racist systems are hurting us, as White people. We will delve into the history that created these racist systems and discover together what our unique role might be in changing them. And we will explore what behaviors we may have been taught that might preserve the inequalities we are working against. 6:00 PM potluck, 6:30 meeting begins.
