In a time of heightened crises, climate destabilization and interpersonal disconnect, the importance of stepping away from the screens and isolation to re-embrace the beauty of nature and the natural world is at an all-time high. Come and enjoy a night of music featuring Ernst Chausson’s settings of Boucher’s beautifully expansive and tragic poems, Clara Schumman’s portraits of love and woodland scenes, and Edward Elgar’s picturesque Sea-Pictures. These three vocal sets performed by mezzo-soprano countertenor Cameron Dobson and pianist Mary Jodice will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal in Cambridge on Friday, September 20th at 7pm, and at the Tabernacle Congregational in Salem on Sunday, September 22nd at 4pm.
